A 53-calendar year-aged gentleman has died just after a strike-and-run in West Lothian on Sunday night.
The pedestrian was hit by a vehicle on the B792 Torphichen to Bathgate street at about 23: 05 but the driver did not quit.
He was taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary with critical injuries but died a brief time later on.
Officers appealed for anyone with data about the car to make contact with them.

The highway remains closed while investigations are carried out.
Insp Peter Houston reported the crash was a “significant incident” and asked for witnesses to appear forward.
“We are notably fascinated to speak to anyone who was on the B792 ahead of the collision, and may possibly have observed the deceased going for walks, he was wearing all dim clothing,” he claimed.
“Similarly, we would like to converse to any individual who could have found a dark automobile in the space possibly just before or right after the time of the collision, it might have had new hurt.”
