Jennifer Lopez won Milan Fashion Week, when she emerged on the Versace runway wearing a version of the jungle dress that nearly broke the internet almost 20 years ago. (Sept. 21)
Lisa Rinna from the block?
And Rinna got Lopez’s stamp of approval.
“It was really, really cute. She looked awesome,” Lopez told Access Hollywood, adding that fiancé Alex Rodriguez brought Rinna’s getup to her attention on Instagram.
Lopez continued: “Actually, Alex sent that to me. He’s like, ‘look!'”
Rinna donned the green, jungle-print gown that (no kidding) led to the creation of Google Images for Casamigos’ annual Halloween bash on Friday in Beverly Hills.
Rinna’s transformation wasn’t complete without an impromptu music video to Lopez’s 2002 hit “Jenny From the Block,” featuring stylish lip syncing and epic dance moves.
Lopez’s Versace look remains a pop culture phenomenon nearly two decades later, and she rightfully calls the viral look her “biggest fashion moment ever.”
In September, the singer/actress revisited her iconic dress at Milan Fashion Week, hitting the Versace runway in a similar version of the infamous dress that managed to show more skin than the daring original.
